Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I book a night nanny?
Easy! Start with a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your needs. After intake, we match you with a night nanny and schedule your overnight care.
2. What is included in the intake fee?
The $250 intake fee covers your personalized onboarding, detailed care coordination, and matching with a professional night nanny suited to your family’s needs. If you purchase a Sleep Relief Package, this fee is reduced to $99.
3. What are your hourly rates and who do they apply to?
- $37/hr for returning clients booking weekday care (Mon–Thurs, no on-call backup included).
- $40/hr standard rate for new clients and weekend bookings (no on-call backup included).
- $42/hr premium rate applies for holidays, short-notice bookings, or when on-call backup nanny service is included.
4. What are the Sleep Relief Packages?
Bundles of overnight care nights at discounted rates that include on-call backup nanny coverage and a reduced intake fee. Packages offer peace of mind and savings for families who need multiple nights of care.
5. What is the ‘on-call backup nanny’ service?
This service ensures that if your scheduled night nanny calls out, a backup nanny is guaranteed to step in. No interruptions to your family’s care.
6. How does the Gift of Sleep gift card work?
Gift cards can be purchased online for families in Reno and Las Vegas, redeemable toward overnight care or Sleep Relief Packages. They make great baby shower gifts or a thoughtful support gesture for new parents.
7. How does the Giving Back program work?
We donate 5% of our net profits to provide free nights of care to single parents and military families with deployed partners. Clients can also voluntarily add $20 to their booking to help fund this program.
8. Are the $20 client contributions tax-deductible?
Since we are a for-profit business, these contributions are not tax-deductible. However, they directly support donated care nights for families in need.
9. What if my care needs change after booking?
If your needs change significantly or you have a new baby, a new intake fee may be required to update your care plan and nanny matching.
10. Are your night nannies certified and background checked?
Yes! All our nannies are CPR-certified, background-checked, and experienced in newborn care.
11. Do you serve all areas in Las Vegas and Reno?
We do our best to serve families across the Las Vegas and Reno regions; however, not all zip codes currently have caregiver availability. When you submit your intake form, we’ll confirm if we have coverage in your area. If not, we’ll place you on our priority list as we expand our team.
